Musical hall knees up in Jack the Ripper
Published Date:

IN 1888, death stalks the streets of Whitechapel in London's East End.
Five women of the night have been brutally murdered and mutilated.
Everyone is under suspicion from the lowliest butcher, to eminent surgeons and even Royalty.
The poor unfortunates are defenceless and the police remain clueless.
At first sight this seems a dubious setting for a happy musical show but you're about to be very surprised!
Prepare to shed tears of sadness and laughter, stamp your feet, clap along and be drawn into Victorian London with the Leighton Musical Theatre Company's latest production, Jack The Ripper at Leighton's Library Theatre.
As always, this acclaimed local company will share their infectious enthusiasm, wrapped in harmonious singing and earthy humour.
Join them for a riotous evening of music-hall-style songs, larger than life characters, saucy banter and a good old-fashioned knees-up.
Performances are on April 23, 24, 25 and 26.
Box Office 01582-818801.
