MEMBERS of the Cheddington Amateur Dramatic Society are pictured during a break in rehearsals for their latest production.
The players are celebrating the society’s 30th anniversary by performing Alan Ayckbourn’s Communicating Doors at the Village hall this Friday and Saturday.
Communicating Doors is a time-travel play in which characters walk from room to room, each set in its own time.
It asks the question: if you walked into the past and changed it, what present would you return to?
Poopay, a sexual consultant, tries to prevent murders that took place more than 20 years ago and is pursued by the psychopath who committed them. Can she succeed? Can she herself survive? And what effect do her actions have when she returns to her own time?
The doors and bar open at 7.30pm for curtain-up at 8pm. Tickets are available by telephoning (01296) 662398 (evenings), 662625 (daytime) and from Masons Stores in the village.
