LEIGHTON Buzzard Children's Theatre youth section will be performing Fiddler on the Roof from Thursday at Leighton's library theatre in Lake Street.
This specially-adapted junior musical theatre piece, covers the full range of human emotions, presented by local young performers aged 13 to 19. Among the most memorable songs are “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Do You Love Me?”

The story centres on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and religious traditions while the world and civilisation around him change rapidly. He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters – each daughter's choice of husband moves progressively further and further away from established custom – and with the edict of the Tsar that upends his village.

Shows start on Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm, Saturday 2pm and 7.30pm.

Call the box office on 01582 818801 to order tickets.
